International Relations Office invites Ukrainian students and scholars to learn more about the scholarship offer from Academia Sinica (AS) and Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) of Taiwan.

As the leading government-funded research institute in Taiwan, Academia Sinica (AS) operates the Taiwan International Graduate Program (TIGP), a prestigious PhD training program that welcomes international students.

The Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), as the government agency, is in charge of the development of science and technology in Taiwan. In order to support academic research, MOST provides subsidies for recruiting outstanding talents to participate in research projects.

Eligible candidates: Ukrainian citizens, i.e. degree-related students (undergraduate, graduate and PhD students) and scholars with a PhD degree, in the fields of expertise: Humanities and Social Sciences, Mathematics and Physical Sciences and Life Sciences.

Costs covered:

1. flight tickets (round trip)
2. accomodation
3. living expenses (NT$15,000/month for undergraduate students, NT$20,000/month for graduate and PhD students, NT$66,950/for scholars with a PhD degree)

Scholarship duration: 3 months (with the possibility of extension)

Advanced knowledge of English is expected.
