CALL

 

The Education Programme was created under an intergovernmental agreement on the implementation of the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area for 2014-2021. The aim of the Programme is to reduce economic and social differences within the European Economic Area and to strengthen bilateral relations between Poland and the Donor States (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway) in the field of education.

 

The International Relations Office of the Jagiellonian University opens a call for applications for 1 - week Staff Mobilities for Teaching (STA) and Staff Mobilities for Training (STT) for Jagiellonian University staff under the EDUCATION PROGRAMME.

Within the call a candidate may apply for one mobility to institutions located in the Donor States with which the Jagiellonian University has signed a cooperation agreement.

LIST OF AVAILABLE MOBILITIES

The purpose of the teaching mobility is to conduct didactic classes for students of the partner university (min. 8 hours), monitor the course of studies pursued by students of the Jagiellonian University at a foreign university and to learn about the implementation of the didactic process in the field of their specialization.

The purpose of the training mobility is to participate in training raising qualifications related to the nature of work performed at the home university.

Academic teachers may apply for teaching mobilities. Academic teachers as well as administrative staff, research and technical staff, librarians and lectors may apply for training mobilities.

Candidates are required to know the language of instruction of the host university or English to a degree that allows them to freely conduct didactic classes or participate in training.

In order to apply to the EDUCATION PROGRAMME the candidates are required to:

1. Complete and submit the online Application Form for teaching or training purposes

2. Submit to the JU International Relations Office the completed Didactic Program - Mobility Agreement-Staff Mobility for Teaching or the Training Program - Mobility Agreement-Staff Mobility for Training with the indicated dates of the planned mobility, agreed and signed by the programme Participant and the head of the home unit of the Jagiellonian University

3. Submit to the JU International Relations Office a confirmation of admission, e.g. an invitation letter, e-mail with confirmation etc. 

The call for applications is open from April 18, 2023 up till May 5, 2023 (15:30 CEST).

The online Application Form should be completed only online. The Mobility Agreement - Staff Mobility for Teaching/Mobility Agreement - Staff Mobility for Training should be sent to Ms. Marzena Butanowicz or Mr. Jan Beszłej using traditional post or the JU internal mail service (IRO ul. Czapskich 4, 31-110 Kraków) or by e-mail to marzena.butanowicz@uj.edu.pl or jan.beszlej@uj.edu.pl.

In accordance with the priority of the Education Programme, candidates dealing with child welfare education will receive additional points during the qualification of applications.

Incomplete or late documents will not be considered. If the number of submissions exceeds the financial limits, a reserve list will be created.

The call will be settled in the first half of May 2023.

The candidates will be informed about the results individually by e-mail.
