Pursuant to an Agreement between the Jagiellonian University and the University of Rochester, the Dean of the College at the University of Rochester and the Director of the Skalny Center for Polish and Central European Studies, JU International Relations Office is pleased to announce a call for applications for Skalny Teaching Grant for two fellowships (one-semester teaching each) at the University of Rochester (Spring 2025 and Fall 2025).

Eligible applicants are those who hold the PhD degree and conduct their research in all fields of the humanities and social sciences.

NOTE:

One of the documents necessary for the call is the Nomination Letter from JU, which will be issued by JU IRO after sending zgłoszenia na wymianę bilateralną wraz z programem roboczym including the funds declaration from the JU unit. This declaration must be signed by the fund holder and the Dean of the Faculty (number of days: 30).

The deadline for submitting applications: 10 June 2024

The candidates will be interviewed by Professor Randall Stone (University of Rochester) in June 2024. The selection and appointment of the Jagiellonian Visiting Professors will be made by July 15, 2024.
